Tax Tip #2 – Riding The Bus

This week on Tax Tip Tuesdays we promised a chat on body odour and personal space.

That’s right…..it’s the BUS!

…and subway and railcar and tram and train and tuk-tuk.

Anyhow, if you used any of the aforementioned means of public transportation during the year, on a monthly or yearly pass, you can get back 15% of everything you spent! For those of you keeping count, that’s 15% better you can feel about yourself for having to take the BUS.

P.S. Good for you if you took a tuk-tuk; however, further research is required here at The Offices to determine whether the tuk-tuk is an acceptable means of public transportation here in the True North.

For more information on this and other fun tax credits, contact The Funny Accountant/President of MK & Associates at: mitch@mkassociates.ca

Catch us next week on Tax Tip Tuesdays for a conversation about negligence, carelessness, delinquency and recklessness…we’ll give you a hint, it’s not an exposé on Lindsay Lohan or Charlie Sheen.

So Say We All,

The Funny Accountant
